Recently, our research lab group took a field trip to look at some operational silviculture research. Sanatan showed us some of the lodgepole pine commercial thinning trials he is involved with and we also toured the Huestis demonstration forest. Great day out in the bush discussing trees, soil and plants. And we only got snowed on for a little bit!
